Biden unveils $1.9 trillion economic relief package; proposes $1400 checks

President-elect Joe Biden has unveiled a $1.9T stimulus plan for the economy. The proposal includes a $1T allocation for households, with direct payments of $1,400 to all Americans. The direct payments of $1,400 comes on top of $600 payments provided in a relief bill enacted last month. Biden also called on Congress to double the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour.

You wouldn't need to steady the economy if your party didn't deliberately tank it TO destroy the economy and cause suffering so they could blame orange man bad

And where is this 1.9 trillion coming from? Is the plan to recklessly spend and print enough money to cause enough inflation that the $15 dollar minimum wage he is pushing for means absolutely nothing when everyone's rent is $2500 a month and a loaf of bread is $10?

Pay attention folks; your taxes are going to pay for all this and Joe's already going to give you less than he said. Regret electing Biden yet? will.

And ofcourse!! Biden will now take credit for giving us$2,000 checks. Thank you so much!! Before, you and all the other leftists didn't want to do this. WHY? Because you didn't want Trump taking credit for it. So,you flipped the script on him just like you do with anyone. Typical Democratic behavior. 😉

Anyone want to make the following bet? Sniffy Inc will have the Fed print more money in the first 100 days of his term than Trump did in 4 years.

We have already doubled what we will bring in from revenue, why not triple it and totally bankrupt the nation.

Look at Ashley Biden's husband. She has been trying to divorce him but is forced to keep silent after the Diary Coverup. Her husband is a main investor in telehealth for Great Reset and cozies up to UN/China/WEF

Great, Biden is planning to jack up the massive deficit before he even takes office. Please don't rack up as much debt as the last three presidents.

“Steady the economy” meaning exporting even more of our money to foreign investors. I mean whatever. We’ll tank for 2 years, Fed up there will be a Republican wave and we will be right back to where we are now.

Walking back on promises yet again and he's still not POTUS yet. Again. I have to ask, is anyone ever excited to hear this guy speak?

If the federal minimum wage is raised from 7.25 to 15 an hour I expect a raise of 7.75 for no additional responsibilities in short order. What do they think is going to happen when those with more work and in higher positions are making 12 dollars and hour? Why would you be interested in taking 15 for the same job as someone who pushes carts? Are they insane enough to think business will simply absorb the loss, or is it more likely everything will cost more and jobs will be shipped out to other countries?

The ones I see suffering are the elderly on fixed incomes, they won't be able to absorb the increased cost of doing busness. In my area $15/hr will buy you a home and a car, why would a kid flipping burgers even bother finishing school?

Yeah, well, raising the minimum wage and giving everyone $1400 doesn't add up to 1.9 trillion. So what's being hidden?

Chairman Biden is going to smashing records for destroying an economy in record time. Watch him try and use COVID as a shield as it just drops out if the sky and crash and burns.

OUCH! The senile old codger is going to get scammed out of America’s life savings - except it’s actually the credit card.

At least 17% of all restaurants have permanently closed along with all the businesses that try to work around capacity restrictions or outright closer how are businesses going to be able to deal with a $15 minimum? And who will be employed to receive it?

Doug 3 months

And exactly how much is going to corporate welfare and pork? For the bill to be 1.9 trillion, there's got to be a big heaping pile of it.

Wow, a president who will actually work for the people unstead of sitting around tweeting about how he's SO picked on and alternately screaming at the television or carting his fat a$$ around a golf course. Nice change

No one has any idea what inflation is. Should have been taught in grade school. Now the country dies. Oh well. I don't enjoy told-ya-so's anymore.

If they force this through, I know countless people who will lose their jobs, and countless more who will lose their businesses. This will be the last stone to truly destroy small business. We as a nation can't afford something like this. My only hope is that if this happens, states will take it into their own hands and enforce state laws over federal. If we can do it with weed we can do it with wages.
