Far-right extremists recruiting in military: Pentagon

Far-right extremists recruiting in military: Pentagon

The Pentagon said Thursday that far-right and white supremacist extremists are actively recruiting in the US military and have gained more support over the past year. It plans to launch an investigation into the extent of extremism in US military ranks. The probe announcement came after a letter Thursday from 14 US senators urging the Pentagon to look more closely at the problem.

They keep throwing the terms "right wing extremists" and "white supremacists" around like they have a clue of what they're talking about.

That may be true. And sad. But at the same time. Look at what the left has done to poke the bear. Nothing but spew violence and hatred. Turning over every rock and stone and even when they can't find a racist, they find a way to call you one if you don't bend to critical theory. Or Cultural Marxism. The only differences between communism and facism, are Globalism and nationalism. The other fear I have is that this probe will also be used to justify persecuting dissenters. Unless we stop the politcal escalations, those people will only continue to be radicalized. I mean... Daryl Davis wrote the book on how to deradicalize even the most high level clans men.

I'm just going to assume any time the media uses far right they are actually talking about average American patriots of all races and creeds with families that just want freedom and less tyranny. When we realize that truth we see how they try to put a target on the backs of citizens. I remember when journalists used to try to expose systems of power, not reinforce them and talk down to the citizens.🤷🏾‍♂️

It's so difficult to know who the "far right" people are as they blend into society so easily.... We need a way to identify them.... Maybe a tattoo on their wrist? Oh... And they can wear a special armband in public. Ya, that would really help.

Once again we have more hand wringing about muh wh-aight supremacists... this has ebbed and flowed for decades with very few examples of actual supremacists (as a percentage of total population). This topic is a typical one used to distract from other things that are occurring or have occurred. If it were so bad the Armed Forces would be overwhelmingly "right-wing" which they are not. So it is either not a thing or efforts for the last 2 to 3 decades have failed. Here's a story from 3 years ago Here's a study published in 1998

Im sure someone thought they saw an "Okay" hand sign from someone in the military and immediately assumed that there was a far right take over in US armed forces. Really tired of "far-right" and "white supremists" boogeyman conspiracy theories from the left. Try sonething new already.

“One problem lawmakers have repeatedly singled out is the military’s lack of a strict prohibition against joining a white nationalist group. The military bars “active” participation in criminal gangs and other groups that support illegal discrimination or advocate for violence, but does not prevent members from joining these groups or voicing support for their ideas. At a February oversight hearing, Air Force Office of Special Investigations official Robert Grabosky told lawmakers that “mere membership in a white supremacist group is not prohibited.” (Air Force spokesperson Ann Stefanek confirmed that this guidance remains on the books across the military.)” Yikes. How is it OK to allow a soldier to be a member of a white nationalist group while pledging to defend the freedoms of our country? What does that say about our country? That the freedoms aren’t for everyone?

Obviously. The military generally targets poor, lower socioeconomic status, lower educated citizens. Something tells me that’s not too far off base for a vast majority of trump supporters.

Wow, that's only like 40 years too late. The worst case of racism I've ever seen has come out of the military. I'm not talking about boot camp either. And the racism can come from ANY group too. The bad thing is that the Pentagon is investigating the issue to please Congress. That means a few lower ranking scapegoats will be chosen and the higher ups who have engaged in, condoned, or covered up this kind of behavior will be allowed to slide.

I came to NewsVoice to read neutral opinions or real investigative sourced journalism! NewsVoice has neither! This platform will be a sinking ship like twatter , gaagle and Youdoomed! NewsVoice has become very unfair to the readers that built their base. These stories that are posted are gossip like the “National Enquirer” published back in the day. NewsVoice should at least mandate drug testing before they hire and random testing to current employees!

We send these boys to hell then forget about them when they get back. Who can blame them for gravitating to an extremist hate based ideology.

Correct headline: Globalist want to route out patriots from the armed forces so they can take control of the domestic population by force.

Let me know when they stop allowing the advocacy/teaching of CRT in the military as well.

Wonder what they plan on doing about the high rate of street gang members in the military....

WarsmithBob 2 months

Well street gangs already recruit in the military, so I guess it was only a matter of time.

Never should have shown restraint and mercy to the confederates. Now they think they can just walk all over the rights of patriots while pretending to be one.
