Ads for weapon accessories and equipment paused by Facebook

Ads that promote weapon accessories and protective equipment are being banned by Facebook until the 22nd of January. The steps are being taken till President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration as caution. Buzzfeed News investigated and found that body armor, gun holsters, and ads for other military equipment were being shown by Facebook next to content promoting election misinformation.

I already got rid of Facebook. Gotta read between the lines. Gab is actually pretty decent and there's tons of people on the already.

They paused the ads because their employees and lawmakers didn't like it. You can't be more blatant than that.

Cant help but think theres gonna be a drive towards a narrative against gun ownership, citizens who own them are "bad people" etc etc, the second amendment is the only tangible thing Americans have to defend their freedom and the leftist HATE IT

A "Private Business" is not entitled to deny employees or customers any rights as provided by the U.S. Constitution. How is this even up for debate?

Zuckerberg can virtue signal all he wants. The fact is that Big Tech has lost over $51 billion this year so far and users are fleeing their site. More censorship will only make this decline even worse.

Amazes me how incredibly childish some people can be. Despite an avalanche of evidence from around the world, America still grasps at an antiquated piece of paper written in and for a different time. Grow up America.

We should look towards a country like Sweden for gun laws and regulations it’s a country where near every household owns guns but there is little to no gun violence .
