Workers installed razor wire atop 7-foot fencing around the Capitol, and the National Mall was closed on Friday, as officials prepare ahead of Inauguration Day next week. The number of National Guard members on hand has been increased to 25,000. The unprecedented fortification comes as officials sought to prevent a repeat of the deadly Jan. 6 riot.
20k troops for the virtual inauguration of the most popular president in history in the most secure election in history. K.
“Concerning violent protests”? Oh well, better add more censorship, than addressing the real issues
All hail emperor Biden. Nothing screams “unity” than a military invasion.
Didn't he receive the most votes in US history? Why would they block his supporters from attending? Could it be that since he has 10,000 troops guarding the capital - maybe it wasn't the people who voted him in?
Safest Potato in history. Makes me proud to be an American! 🇺🇲
But shouldnt we just make a very small event or just make the inauguration on Zoom. We dont want to spread the virus do we Joe? But Joe wants to have his big day
Government scared of the people, how fitting.
"The deadly Jan 6. riot." as if there was some mass killing like there was in the ACTUAL deadly riots that they did nothing about.
Is this gonna be a super spreader event? And are these soldier's still stormtroopers to Nancy Pelosi?
Is it Boogaloons to the rescue or will they just be martyred after being target practice targets for the National Guard?
Oh yes, this is clearly the most popular president in US history. Also funny these measures weren't taken by the mayor of DC when the Women's March loonies tried to breach the Heart Building to lynch Kavanaugh or when BLM rioted throughout the city for months on end. The only thing even remotely close to that was businesses throughout the city boarding up and putting big "We love BLM, so please don't smash our windows in" signs on their front doors right before the election.
Sounds more like a takeover or invasion to me, all heil Biden... lock up your daughters, sniffin Joe’s coming to town
