California agency suspends cremation limits as bodies pile up due to Covid-19

California’s South Coast Air Quality Management District has temporarily suspended permit requirements for crematoriums as the huge surge in Covid-19 deaths resulted in piling up of bodies. The agency limits the number of monthly cremations that can be carried due to air-quality regulations. The pandemic has pushed the death rate in the region to more than double, pushing storage to the brink.

Seriously? There's a limit on how many people can be cremated per day? Who thinks up these regulations?

So in order to avoid pollution you allow over crowding of morgues? Leading to improper storage. Leading to risk of illness and disease. Need I say more? California wont look like Pompeii, just burn them. Jeez.
