GM and Microsoft partner up

A partnership has been announced between Microsoft and GM in order to accelerate the production and roll-out of electric, self-driving cars. General Motors, Honda and other institutional investors have been joined by Microsoft in a combined new equity investment of more than $2 billion in Cruise. This has resulted in the valuation to be brought to about $30 billion.
