US passes another grim Covid-19 milestone, death toll crosses 400,000

The coronavirus pandemic has now claimed more than 400,000 Americans lives. This comes amid a huge surge in the rate of Covid-19 infections and deaths – the highest since the outbreak in the US. Latest Johns Hopkins University data show over 24,246,800 have been infected of Covid-19 in the country so far and over 401, 500 have died. The CDC predicts the death toll to reach 477,000 by February 6.
