Levandowski, engineer who stole Google’s secrets, receives Trump’s pardon

Anthony Levandowski, a former Google engineer, was among the 143 people President Donald Trump granted clemency in his last day in office. He was given an 18-month jail term in 2020 for downloading trade secrets from Waymo – Google’s autonomous car project. Justifying the pardon, the White House said: ’His sentencing judge called him a ’brilliant, groundbreaking engineer that our country needs.’’
