Ohio’s largest city to spend $4.5M to improve police bodycams

Officials in Columbus, Ohio said that they plan to invest $4.5 million in body-worn cameras for police and introduce a law that would ensure officers use the cameras correctly. The decision has been taken in the wake of the fatal shooting of Andre Hill by a white police officer the previous month. The case remains under state and federal criminal investigation.
