Californians to vote on banning sale of flavored tobacco in 2022

Californians will vote in 2022 on whether the state should ban the sale of flavored tobacco products. Lawmakers approved the ban last year, but a referendum qualified Friday. The law won’t take effect in the meantime. Former state Sen. Jerry Hill, who sponsored the legislation, said his goal was to target products that contribute to youth addiction.

Why would california approve of this. I thought they were into the who body autonomy thing. If your free to chop a living being out of your body you should be able to inhale what ever you want.

This is racist. Everyone knows what community is by far the largest user of menthol cigarettes.

More Americans die from abortion than cigarettes and all other causes of death in this country... Yet it's legal.

No menthol cigarettes but you can still get bubble gum flavored vaping fluid, right? That ought to lower the nicotine addiction rates among the youth.

I don’t get why Cali’s government doesn’t fix their homeless problem and their grossly incompetent spending practices? Step 1: cut funding to corporations. Step 2: fix homelessness by arresting people for related offenses and bring the cost of living DOWN. It’s not progressive to let homeless people attack and ruin small businesses. Step 3: quit wind, hydro and solar and go straight nuclear because it works and it’s more efficient than anything else they have. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel. Wheels work just fine. Step 4: Get rid of ridiculous gun laws. What’s the point of not allowing pistol grips and stocks? It’s still a gun. I stg Cali compliance rules are the reason God doesn’t talk to us anymore. It won’t save anyone and it won’t stop people who import guns illegally. Why would a mass shooter care about the law prohibiting him from using his illegal rifle to shoot from an illegal drum mag? It makes no sense and it prevents lawful citizens from owning a gun. Step 5: Stop prompting up failing industries and stop allowing corporations to abuse your citizens like slaves. (I’m talking about Amazon, Walmart, etc.) Step 6: Stop all illegal immigrants. The only reason rich corporate (mostly Democrat) politicians feign sympathy for these welfare migrants is because they want more slaves for their corporate backers. If you actually buy the whole propaganda run about them being helpless idk what to say to you other than think about this objectively: Who benefits from this? Not them. Not the lower classes. The only people that benefit are the corporations: Walmart, Amazon, etc. who can stick these people into dead end positions and get them dependent on a paycheck to paycheck basis. Illegals will do the work because they have no other choice from their corporate overlords.

No one will care . Your streets are full of used needles .From off the hook drug use .Your community are swamped with people who choose to be homeless .I do not think flavored tobacco will be a second thought . You are only creating a new black market .
