A cybercriminal is selling access to a database of 533 million phone numbers of Facebook users and letting customers look up those numbers by using a bot on Telegram. Alon Gal, co-founder and CTO of cybersecurity firm Hudson Rock discovered this. The bot lets anyone find a user’s phone number with the user’s Facebook ID and a user’s FB ID from a phone number.
More propaganda to get rid of the ever so threatening privacy centric apps. 😱 Even if the issue here was facebooks own exploit, let’s blame the EVIL TELEGRAM. Down With Privacy!!
This is why you shouldn't put your phone number on Facebook, this lead is even bigger than last time... https://www.comparitech.com/blog/information-security/267-million-phone-numbers-exposed-online/ And the time before... https://techcrunch.com/2019/09/04/facebook-phone-numbers-exposed/
Facebook tracks their users apps history even when they aren't active on it. 🤔 Sounds like a security and privacy issue on Faceboo''s end.
I stopped using bitchbook months ago. Nothing but moaning lama's causing drama's, it's a pointless app full of control freaks.
You agreed to be a human centipede what did you expect we now are just eating each others shit and then making someone else eat ours.
Yet another reason not to use Facebook
Well that’s FaceBook’s fault.
They're back in business. It was just a matter of time. Volatility makes for good business. Else its just SOS. Same ole s...
only Facebook is allowed to sell your private information!
Typical.......
Way to "protect" your customers FB!
Facebook = DARPA/Lifelog
Thanks Facebook. Maybe a little more focus on protecting user privacy vs. your useless daily election updates and stifling free speech?
