Twitter permanently bans MyPillow CEO’s account

Twitter has permanently banned My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell’s account on the grounds of perpetuating unproven claims around the 2020 US presidential election. Twitter cites a ban due to ’repeated violations’ of its civic integrity policy, a spokesperson said, although it was not immediately clear which of Lindell’s tweets had broken Twitter’s policy.

Guy has crazy idea that other crazies don't like, so they silence his speech. We live in a pretty reasonable nation, it seems. This definitely is the way forward, and definitely wont create precedent for anyone to be silenced for wrongthink in the future. This is weakness.

This is accomplishing nothing except creating echo-chambers. They are forcefully dividing us to prevent sharing of ideas. If you can't talk to someone, you'll never teach them anything, and you'll never learn anything from them. The false dichotomies get deeper.

And yet literal racist anti semites like Louis Farrakhan can call Jews "cockroaches".... No ban. Karma is a b*tch and we're going to love to see the payback for leftist Jack and his company.

I propose a challenge for anyone that wants to do it. Step 1: Download all big social medias Step 2: Talk about election fraud and censorship and other conservative ideas Step 3: See how long it takes you to get banned or suspended

100's of signed Affidavits of a slew of shady or straight up cheating. PA governor went around the legislation which is 100% unconstitutional. Georgia mysterious pipe breaks send all the watchers home TRUMP has HUGE lead and just like that they find enough biden ballots to win. Also Georgia they get a guy to inspect the ballots and as he gets there they've been shredded how convient. In Arizona 100% 6000 votes for TRUMP went to biden every single machine in the USA should be confiscated and thoroughly audited.

My pillow guy is a dillusional twit that drank way too much kool aid and can’t stop breaking the rules of a social media platform so he got banned. End of story...thank goodness.

No matter how crazy or incorrect someone's beliefs are, if they are not inciting violence, I believe they should be given the right to speak on the platform.

Everybody defending this action is nothing but a two-faced hypocrite Twitter has no problem with violence as long as it's against conservatives and everyone of you know it your hypocrisy is there for the world to see

If you don't like Twitters terms of service. Don't use the service it's pretty simple. 🤷‍♂️

Private corporations have always had terms of service. How are the cultists so blown away and bamboozled by this concept?

For those of you making the terms of service argument. Telco case law circa 1927 says you are wrong. Take a look at your wall outlet see where your cable service plugs in? That is the extent to control you have over public communication same for any other legal entity. The public infrastructure cables, pathways and spaces, wireless spectrum are public and the constitution first amendment applies. Full stop. Case law is 100% clear on this. If twitter wants to censor and curate content they are fee to do so but they will require their own internet to provide that service. Now explain to me how a money-losing net send application wrapped in HTML is going to build their own internet. ,

It's called freedom of speech with consequences. Private companies do not have to put up with your BS.
