Janet Yellen has been sworn in as the Treasury Secretary of the administration of President Joe Biden. Ms. Yellen has now become the first ever woman secretary of the Treasury in U.S. history. She was administered the oath of office by Vice President Kamala Harris, who herself is the first female vice president in the history of the United States.
