Paul Rivas, the driver accused of ploughing his vehicle through people on sidewalk and killing a 77-year-old woman in Portland, Oregon, has pleaded not guilty to all charges against him. Although Rivas, 64, admitted to hitting a bicyclist, but he said it was an ’emergency maneuver’ to avoid a more serious crash.
