Citing its respect for ’choice and user control,’ Google said its apps for iPhones will stop using an Apple tool that allows them to personalize ads. In a blogpost, Christophe Combette, Google’s product manager for ads, said: ’At Google, we’ve always put users and their privacy first. Transparency, choice and control form the bedrock of our commitment to users, and advertising is no different.’
