PETA ridiculed for suggesting to stop using ’anti-animal’ insults

PETA has come under ridicule over its latest demand from people to stop using animals as cruel insults. In a series of tweets, PETA likened calling someone a chicken to ’supremacist language.’ It argued that calling someone names like a ’pig,’ ’chicken’ or a ’snake’ is hurtful to the animals themselves. It suggested the use of alternatives instead: pig (repulsive), chicken (coward), snake (jerk).
