Pentagon asked by FEMA for help in administering COVID-19 vaccines

The Pentagon has been asked by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to assist with President Joe Biden’s goal to vaccinate 100 million people against COVID-19 in his first 100 days in office. Pentagon press secretary John Kirby said that the ’Department is evaluating the request, and what kinds of support it can provide.’ The request will be ’reviewed urgently but carefully,’ Kirby said.
