Google Play will allow gambling and betting apps in 15 more countries from March 1. Until now, it allowed such apps in just Brazil, France, Ireland, and the UK. The 15 countries are Australia, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Romania, Spain, Sweden, and the US. Apple’s App Store already had such apps in the countries where gambling is legal.
There is something evil about having gambling app on something that's always at your disposal. If you are up for this, why exactly do gambling sites have strict restrictions on where they can be and so on (at least where I am)? And is Play store actually checking age of a user now, or is it still not enforced? If it's not, what guarantees that minor won't use it and possibly become addicted?
