6 killed in liquid nitrogen leak at Georgia poultry facility

Six people have died and nearly a dozen others have faced injuries and are currently hospitalized after a liquid nitrogen leak at a northeast Georgia poultry facility. The cause of the leak is currently being investigated by firefighters, the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the state fire marshal. Three of the people hospitalized are in a critical condition.

Nitrogen asphyxiation is bad news. You can't smell it or have any clue until you pass out. I think NASA had an incident years ago where a number of people died in such a case.
