Mobile internet services were blocked by India in several areas surrounding Delhi, as protesting farmers kicked off a one-day hunger strike after a week of clashes with authorities that left one dead and hundreds injured. Tens of thousands of farmers have been camped at protest sites on the outskirts of Delhi in order to push forth the repeal of controversial new agricultural laws.
I've been reading about this for a long time. It seems like the farmers of India will be unable to change the rules. I'm not an Indian farmer so I don't really know the whole scenario, but I feel like they would have a bigger portion of the government's ear if they all had shotguns. Molon Labe.
Here is issue, continue with subsidy ie handouts or open the market! Govt introduced opening the market but a small section of farmers want subsidy and are holding the country at ransom. Of course the left parties see an opportunity and adding fuel to fire.
