Biden signs executive orders at a record pace

President Biden has set his agenda into motion through a flurry of over 40 executive actions that address issues from Covid-19 to the climate crisis. Comparatively, former President Trump signed seven executive orders in January 2017, former President Obama signed nine in January 2009 and former President George W. Bush signed two in January 2001.

The return to normalcy President, ladies and gentlemen. What’s not normal about ignoring your own parties control of the legislature and instead pushing your agenda through executive action?

Making another strong case for why Trump was elected in 2016. Biden is continuing Obama's doings!!

The apparently most popular president in American history coming from the party in charge of all branches of government who chooses to rule by decree instead of ruling through the people and forgoing the format of open and transparent debate. Remind me again how trumps the tyrant??

Unconstitutional act of ruling by decree. Congress is supposed to make the laws and the executive make sure they are executed. This is imperial rule ala Cesar Augustus and the demise of Roman Republic. We have a Republic only if we can keep it and Biden and co. are doing their damnest to circuimvent the Constitution. Id say impeachment hearings are in order.

To be fair, he has no clue what he's signing. He's just putting his signature on paper his handlers put in front of him. Sign this Joe. Dude is senile and everybody knows it

Got to love how every EO by Trump was "fascist tyranny", but Biden does multiples more (with majority in both houses) and it's "decisive leadership"!

This is all the proof we needed to officially sum up the "Trump is an authoritarian!" to nothing but hypocritical protests to a president that you just didn't want. Democrats all support authoritarianism the extreme and they know it. You love it, just as long as your agenda is what is being pushed by the authoritarianism. All hail Lord Biden. I genuinly try to understand and work with democratic voters, and see the division as petty. But this hypocrisy is the worst we've seen from you in a long time. Enjoy your power.

The fearless leader will continue making his proclamations from the central committee headquarters. All hail President Biden!

Wasn’t it Biden who said, “You can’t legislate by executive order unless you are a Dictator?” Why would he feel the need to bypass Congress; especially since the current House & Senate are both Democrat-led? Why would the most “popular” President-elect need to have 50,000 armed National Guard, an 8ft fence with barbed-wire, and perimeter blocks around the Capitol building? American citizens aren’t worthy of a wall’s protection at our Southern border— under self-proclaimed, Dictator Biden. With a stroke of a pen he has destroyed our fossil fuel independence; under the guise of this “existential climate crisis.” We will now be dependent on the Middle East again and Gas prices will rise to the occasion. Why hasn’t China or India began the process of “clean energy?” After-all, it’s they who contribute 90% of the World’s Carbon emissions. Do you not see, it is all just an elaborate game? It’s time to wake up...

One of his executive orders that hasn't been mentioned in the state run media "From now on, I'll be addressed in private meetings as "Der Fuhrer! "".

So despite having congress and the senate, Biden has signed more than twice as many in his first week than the last 3 presidents combined. I also doubt anyone can point to a single one of these orders which actually benefit a single American citizen.

Trump had a yearly average of 55 EO's and a total of 220. Biden has signed 40, while saying on camara that he didn't know what he was signing, in the first month.

Here is Biden doing the exact same thing he and other Democrats criticized Trump for doing....executive orders. And Biden has broken the record for the number of them so far in his presidency. Hypocrisy has a permanent home on the American left.

I didn't like Trump's use of EOs. I certainly don't approve of Biden's use of EOs. This is not what democratic, fair representation countries should look like. GOP elected: "It's my turn now! We're reversing everything!" Dems get elected: "We're reversing everything you do as well!" GOP gets elected: "We're reversing everything you reversed when we get elected" Dems get elected: "Well, we're going to reverse the reversed, reversals!" Where does this leave Americans? Where does this leave America?

No discussion, just people making decisions for the American people. Biden doesn't even know what he is signing. Sits behind his desk, people slide a black folder in front of him, he signs it. What a good delusional puppet he is.

So its okay to take Trump out of context hundreds of times over his presidency, but as soon as someone does the same thing to Biden the media is there to back him up and make corrections? If the normies aren't seeing this the i dont know what will wake them up.

This is wonderful. Don’t leave a trace of Trump’s criminal and/or unethical actions. Trump’s legacy is one of hate and destruction. Under Trump the USA was on it’s way to becoming a third world dictatorial banana republic.

I had a hunch the comments section on this article would be endlessly entertaining. Thank you right wing snowflakes you didnt disappoint. Apparently you all have had some sort of traumatic brain injury in the past couple months and forget about all the executive orders Trump signed when the Republicans controlled the House, Senate and Presidency in 2016/2017.

josh 2 months I’ll just leave this here for anyone trying to say Obama signed more EOs on average than Trump. Obama signed 276 EOs over the course of 8 years in office, Trump signed 220 in 4 years. So Obama averaged 35/year, and Trump averaged 55/year. And in recent years, most EOs signed by presidents happen early in their first year in office. Biden has signed a lot of EOs these first few weeks, but will likely slow down a lot after February.

Reversing what have been reversed. Reset the system and move on to the next agenda.
