China ’notes’ Myanmar coup, hopes for stability

Last month the Chinese Govt.’s top diplomat, Wang Yi, met military chief Min Aung Hlaing, who has now assumed power.

China apparently has energy infrastructure running through Myanmar. China is stuck in the 19th century way of thinking such as economic colonialism, manipulating markets and currency, and loan sharking other countries. Prediction: CCP will attempt to protect its monied interests in the region through insertion of armed forces, I don't know when specifically but I have read enough books to feel secure in my clairvoyance. China and the military dictatorships of Myanmar already have a long and storied past, it would not surprise me in the least to read about something like this.

Like China or hate them, there is something for the US government(s) to learn from this exchange: Butt the fck out of sht that doesn't concern you. If a country suffers a civil war (assuming you didn't instigate the dmn thing to begin with) and millions die, that's the path they chose. Send humanitarian aids if you like, but don't send guns. If you invade the godforsaken place and accidentally kill a bunch of civilians "for their own good" in an attempt to install a US-friendly puppet government, that sht's on you.
