Wildfire consumes 30 houses in Western Australia, threatens more

A massive wildfire raging in the northeast of Perth, Western Australia has destroyed an estimated 30 homes while menacingly moving towards more, authorities said. The wildfire, which is estimated to be 7,000 hectares in size with a 60 kilometer perimeter, began on Monday and raged through the night near the town of Wooroloo. The towns of Mundaring, Chittering, Northam, and Swan were also impacted.
