After Myanmar coup, Rohingya refugees fear to return

Myanmar’s Rohingya Muslim refugees in Bangladesh camps are now fearing to return to their country after the military coup there. In 2017, the military, with the help of Buddhist extremists, carried out mass rapes and murders of the Rohingya and torched their villages, which drove 700,000 Rohingya refugees into neighboring Bangladesh. Myanmar and Bangladesh discussed their repatriations last month.
