In a repeat of a malfunction that destroyed the SpaceX’s Starship SN8 test rocket, its latest SN9 prototype rocket also exploded while landing after a test-launch from Boca Chica, Texas. Tuesday’s test-flight of SN9 came after weeks of tension between the Elon Musk company and the Federal Aviation Administration, which approves such tests. The FAA approved SN9’s test just hours before the launch.
