Amazon starts testing Rivian electric vehicles on Los Angeles delivery routes

Amazon has started testing Rivian electric vehicles on delivery routes in Los Angeles to confirm its safety and performance. The e-commerce behemoth plans to roll out the Rivian EVs to as many as 16 US cities this year. Amazon partnered with Rivian to create a ’first of its kind’ electric delivery vehicle and ordered 100,000 of them. The vehicle that is currently being tested has a 150-mile range.
