North Korea to receive 2m doses of Oxford vaccine despite COVID free claim

North Korea is expected to receive nearly 2M doses of the AstraZeneca-Oxford COVID-19 vaccine by the first half of this year. The COVAX Facility will distribute doses of the vaccine produced by the Serum Institute of India. COVAX, which secures vaccines for poor countries, is led by the GAVI alliance, the WHO, the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations and the UN Children’s Fund.
