Amazon’s request to halt Alabama Union Election denied
Amazon.com Inc.’s request to halt the union election set to be held at the company’s Bessemer, Alabama warehouse was denied on Friday by the United States National Labor Relations Board. The company’s request to review the decision of the election being held by mail was also rejected. Now, the elections are to be held as scheduled with February 8th set as the date for the mailing of the ballots.
