Myanmar was struck with violent protests a day after the military seized power in the country. While people banged pots and pans during the demonstration, doctors and government workers went on a strike. Protesters raged against the arrest of Aung San Suu Kyi among other elected leaders. In the midst the unrest, the country faced total internet shutdown so as to silence the spread of the protest.
