Li Wenliang, an ophthalmologist was among the first to spread the warning about the spread of the virus but was reprimanded by the police for ’spreading rumors.’ Wenliang died on February 7, last year due to the virus itself; soon after his death, he gained the title of the ’whistleblower’ and the ’hero of China.’ A year after his death, the people of Wuhan honored him through the means of media.

The CCP silenced this man and now they are glorifying him. I remember reading awful stories and seeing videos of police trying to round people up with everyone else who was sick in stadiums or barricading peoples homes shut with nailing plywood across doors and windows. Can’t post any liveleak videos showing it because now it’s considered copyright

Judging by peoples opinions on this story, I've very little hope for the future of an intellectual society.

Dude was mistreated and abused by the government for trying to warn everyone of what he found. Now they rewrite history to praise him as if they took his advice.
