The UN special envoy for Yemen arrived on his first visit to Iran Sunday for talks on the war in the Arab world’s poorest country. Martin Griffiths was set to meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif and other officials during his two-day visit. The sessions are part of a broader effort to negotiate a political solution to the nearly six-year conflict. The war has killed some 130,000 people.
Ha! WW3. Over Iran. Yeah right.
Express is just a bad tabloid. Does anyone seriously think Iran is capable of waging a "world war?" Their entire economy is 85% dependent upon oil nearly all of which is exported from a single island, Karg. Anyone who wanted to obliterate Iran as a nation could lob a half billion dollars worth of cruise missiles at those export facilities.
