Cheney accuses Trump of ’premeditated effort to provoke violence’ in tweet

GOP Rep. Liz Cheney suggested Sunday that Donald Trump’s tweet chastising Mike Pence while a mob stormed the Capitol complex was, potentially, indicative of ’a premeditated effort to provoke violence.’ ’People will want to know exactly what the president was doing,’ Cheney said about the upcoming impeachment trial. The trial is set to begin Tuesday.

Cheney is an idiot, nothing in Trump's speech violated anything, and he never said to go in the capital building unlike blm/antifa terrorists did plus those crisis actors that went in!!!

Please don't take this too personally but.. As someone who lives in Europe and isn't American either, I find it very hard to understand why or even how half of the US supports him. I feel like if that were my country, I would feel so ashamed. I'm not 100% sure what his impact on the US is within its borders, but from following his twitter and observing his behaviour with foreign nations, I feel like he is not suited to lead. At least if your goal is to maintain good relations. But maybe thats why he was elected, maybe its because America wanted radical change instead. Can someone confirm what their thoughts were before and after Trump? Thanks!!

Hopefully Liz is able to convince enough fascist tea partiers to convict. With any luck at all, they will all be primaried.

Very brave of you Liz. Standing up to principles and integrity is not easy as those qualities have become are rare commodity in today’s republican party.👏

It's most uncommon to see a republican with a modicum of honor, no less common sense. The republican party is history. RIP When you've not enough backbone to admit when you're wrong, you become an object of ridicule. No one with honor or integrity is so blind as to continue defending the orange fool. Sad footnote in history that so many Americans sunk so low and believed in a man who spent his entire life cheating. It would be laughable were it not so pathetic

her father was less than a servant of the people and was a wonton violator of the US Constitution who loved putting American troops in harms way... she is a chip off the old block.

I am so sick of the GOP members throwing each other under the bus for what to capture a headline. How about actually doing something to get yourself on the news.

Turncoat, she needs to step down. Her hatred for Trump stands out like a sore thumb.

So embarrassing that she hasn't been booted right out of the party.

There was nothing in that tweet to provoke violence and Trump specifically said to be peaceful at other times
