Salvatore Anello, the man who pleaded guilty last year for his 1-year-old granddaughter’s fatal fall from a cruise ship, has been sentenced to three years of probation by a Puerto Rican court for negligent homicide. In July 2019, Anello held the toddler up against what he said he believed was a glass window and she slipped from his hands falling 100 feet below the docked Royal Caribbean ship.
