Myanmar police fire rubber bullets at pro-democracy protesters in capital

Myanmar police have fired rubber bullets at protesters in the country’s capital, Naypidaw, injuring two of them seriously, BBC Burma reported. Tens of thousands of people defied the military junta’s curfew order and took to the streets across the country demanding the restoration of the democratically elected government. Police had earlier used water cannons and teargas against the protesters.
