French nun survives Covid-19 just before her 117th birthday

Just days before her 117th birthday, Europe’s oldest person has survived Covid-19. Lucile Randon, who took the name of Sister Andre after becoming a nun in 1944, tested positive for Covid-19 on January 16, but didn’t develop any symptoms. She was immediately isolated from other residents in her retirement home in Toulon, where she made a full recovery. Sister Andre’s birthday is on February 11.
