Facebook to temporarily suppress political content in some countries

Facebook announced that it would temporarily make political content less visible on New Feeds for some users in Canada, Brazil and Indonesia this week and said it has similar plans for the US in the near future. Facebook, which has been facing criticism for years for not doing enough to remove harmful content, had said in January that it would stop recommending civic and political groups to users.

It's nice to know that Facebook will be controlling what people see. Can we get them to only show Biden stuttering like an Alzheimer's patient?

Get off Facebook. If you don't like a company, don't support it. Easy as that. Every single "feature" of FB that people think they can't live without (even though they did live just fine without it just a few years ago,) is replaceable.

I really only have Facebook anymore to keep track of friends' birthdays and to see if my favorite tea brand is making new flavors. I've never been there for political content
