Mario Draghi set to be Italy’s new Prime Minister

Mario Draghi on Friday entered the final straight in his bid to form a new government to lead Italy through the coronavirus pandemic, as he managed to gather the support of almost all political parties. Mr. Draghi, who is the former European Central Bank chief, could visit President Sergio Mattarella as early as Friday to be officially named prime minister.
