Ford to spend $1 billion to manufacture all cars electric in Europe by 2030

Ford said it would spend $1 billion to upgrade its Cologne factory in Germany to convert it into a European electric vehicle factory. It will build an undisclosed electric passenger vehicle in 2023 and it may build a second one too, the company said. Ford vowed to make all-electric vehicles in by 2030, seven years after making fully electric or plug-in gas-electric versions of its vehicles.

I'm waiting for an electric truck that can haul my 30 foot travel trailer up a steep grade at 58mph like my diesel truck does. It would actually pull it at 70, but I'm not into speed, just power.
