In one of the largest protests yet against the military coup in Myanmar, tens of thousands of demonstrators flooded the streets of the country’s biggest city, Yangon, defying the presence of military personnel and armored vehicles. More troops are now pouring in the city. Meanwhile, UN rapporteur Tom Andrews noted that the troops build-up indicates the military was planning a violent crackdown.
Why does the free world repeatedly try to bring democracy to countries of people who didn't ask for it, but never steps in with the military to save people in countries begging for democracy.
