Facebook warned by Australian minister claiming ’we will not be intimidated’

Facebook’s decision to block the news feed of every Facebook user in Australia has been stated as being outrageous and unacceptable by Greg Hunt. The controversial move has also been termed as an assault on the nation as well as freedom. The Minister of Health further said that he expected Facebook to fix its actions and to not repeat them ever again.

Good riddance to FB. I don’t trust nor like the algorithms and news sources are plentiful elsewhere. Same as Google - rack off; us Aussies will use DuckDuckGo. Next to get rid of Twitter. This year will be a reckoning for big tech, globally. The US Government should reign them in They are all publishers and FB decision shows that.
