NASA’s Perseverance lands on ancient Martian lake to dig for signs of life

NASA’s Perseverance rover has landed successfully on Mars. Perseverance landed on a site that scientists have said offers a ’golden chance’ to find if life existed on the red planet ever. It is because the zone is a 28-mile-wide ancient lake – named Lake Tahoe – that once held water. It was fed by a cascading river that carved a channel through the rim of Jezero Crater.
