No unexpected side effects of coronavirus vaccine

Phase 3 trials of coronavirus vaccines from Moderna and Pfizer have shown that the vaccines are 95% effective at preventing a COVID-19 infection. Both vaccines have shown that side effects to them in people are rare. The most common side effects that do occur are headaches, chills, and fevers. The experience has been compared to a ’severe hangover’ by one clinical trial volunteer.

This summary doesn't correlate with evidence I've seen. Side effects are not rare. They are common. Very common. Side effects which are severe or not transient are rare. It's very dangerous to say to people that something they can independently observe or verify is not the case. I hope that is a mistake rather than an attempt to push back against anti-vax nonsense, because it will fall flat.

mRNA conditioning is not vaccination. I'll be glad if it works as it is a phenomenal technology on paper, but we are living through the largest human medical trial ever. This pandemic has been a bonanza to those whom can sell on fear

I wish conservatives would stop being so paranoid about the vaccine and irrational about rare side effects. They could then spend their time pointing out that such a miracle of modern science and technology happening so quickly was only possible because the Trump administration got rid of massive amounts of the federal government's beauracratic red tape. And I'm not saying I don't like having an FDA. It's just that the federal government has grown to be a huge behemoth that could use a good amount of pruning in a lot of areas.

So side effects are rare... what % is rare? People under 40 who get infected have a 1% chance of getting so sick that they need to be hospitalized. That's rare... additionally of those hospitalized a small % die... that's super rare ... but we are going to force everyone to take a vaccine that only reduces the symptoms ... and questioning this is science denial Welcome to 2021. The sequel to 1984

I still agree with (I can't say his/her name) that it's not a vaccine. We are not given the true reaction information. There is no liability or recourse for bad or paralyzing or deadly effects, that is what it has in common with vaccines. Did you hear the latest story about the young woman who was found dead the day after her vaccine, well it's a coincidence she probably had a stroke. We just don't know and probably never will, after all, there are HIPAA laws, oh except when your employer mandates your vaccine as they apparently have a right to ignorantly do. The original intent of the experiment has been twisted beyond recognition and the 'pro vaxxers' vs 'anti vaxxers' game is in full swing already. It is not a vaccine. The whole vaccine herd immunity paradigm doesn't even apply here, but it is already being used as the prelude to forced 'vaccination' for this virus, and not by using 'The Science.'

The worst thing the vaccine is going to do is not work, the incredible excuses people are pushing to excuse their cowardice is disappointing.

so death and other side-effects were expected? that's nice to know. Good luck holding anyone accountable if you or your loved ones experience some of these "expected" side-effects.
