FAA ends investigations into SpaceX’s recent Starship launches

The Federal Aviation Administration has concluded its probes into SpaceX’s last two prototype tests, dubbed SN8 and SN9, each of which ended in an explosive crash. The investigations have reportedly ’settled’ concerns over the license for SN8, and concluded that the crash of SN9 occurred ’within the bounds’ of the FAA’s safety criteria. The outcomes pave the way for a future SN10 flight.

60% chance of landing safely? Maybe we should put convicted murderers on board?

Don't get me wrong, the FAA has done some really great work (like investigating EVERY plane crash) but sometimes they act too high and mighty and refuse to stop their more tyrannical urges (like that glider pilot who got abused by them even though the airshow asked him to perform and he was doing it to please the people)
