Boeing urges airlines to suspend use of some 777s after engine failure

Boeing has recommended grounding more than 120 of its 777 jets worldwide following an engine failure on a United Airlines plane in Denver Saturday. The airline has announced an immediate halt of all flights by its fleet of 24 Boeing 777 airplanes while the Federal Aviation Administration said it would require stepped-up inspections of 777 aircraft with Pratt & Whitney PW4000 series engines.
