EU set to agree sanctions over Russia, Myanmar crackdowns

EU foreign ministers are expected to approve sanctions on Monday against those behind Russia’s crackdown on Alexei Navalny, as well as those responsible for the coup in Myanmar. On Sunday, two of Navalny’s closest allies met with eight EU foreign ministers and several EU ambassadors. In addition, sanctions were also expected on some 30 members of Venezuelan President Maduro’s regime.

The EU should look into China's involvement in assisting the coup, sending planes covertly full of IT specialists and weapons They did so with the planes transponders turned off - again in contravention of international laws.
