Schumer, Biden still trying to find extra vote for Tanden confirmation

Senate Majority Leader Schumer said Sunday he is working with President Biden to gather the support needed to confirm Neera Tanden as director of the OMB. Tanden’s confirmation to lead the office is in jeopardy after Sen. Manchin said Friday that he would vote against her. Biden has said he does not intend to pull Tanden’s nomination and believes they will find the votes to get her confirmed.

Political hack activists like this don't deserve to have any confirmed posts. Sure feels like it did 4 years ago doesn't it? Except your nominees are truly unfit; political activist communist hacks.

Gavin Newsom’s chief of staff, and who was considered a leading alternative to Tanden back in November when Tanden’s nomination was announced

Centrist Biden has no chance of close to FDR legacy, as Bernie has most charitably suggested, with the likes of rabid neoliberal Tanden. Some progressives very disappointed with Alexandra Rojas of Justice Democrats for supporting Tanden.
