New Mexico Gov. regrets spending taxpayer cash on food, alcohol
New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham apologized for discretionary spending of taxpayer money that included $6,500 on groceries and alcohol. Democrat Grisham, over a six-month period in 2020, spent almost $13,500 from a taxpayer-funded expense account on functions, events or items that promote the state. ’It’s not what tax dollars ought to be spent for,’ GOP House Minority Leader Townsend said.
Lots of people are talking about how shitty the democrats are, I think it’s fair to say that every party has shit people in it. When one person says the dems are shit for A someone responds with Republicans are shit for B. I think we can all agree that we need some serious changes in our political system.

That's nothing compared to the Republican dummy running Alaska. Dunleavy turned down millions of government aid for covid....money designed to bail out small businesses....a huge reason why all these classic local establishments up here in my hometown have shut down....because he cares more about supporting a dying industry that's already ridiculously wealthy(oil). The amount of money spent here pales in comparison to the amount of money wasted by the "right" side of the fence.
