Hayley Arceneaux, 29, has been chosen by SpaceX as one of the four private citizens to fly into space aboard its Crew Dragon capsule. Apart from being the youngest-ever American to fly into space, Arceneaux is also a bone cancer survivor. Scheduled to launch late this year, this will also be the first crewed mission to circle Earth without a single professional astronaut.
I really hope they've figured out a way to prevent/reduce bone loss and renal stones for this lucky lady while she's out there. I can't imagine it would be good for a bone cancer survivor, but I'm guessing they've already decided it will be fine. Its going to be interesting to say the least
Happy for her. Looking forward to the flight in October.
Safe travels.
I love dragon and space x, but didn't they have a blow up not long ago? Anyway, I love that private citizens are going to space. I want to go.
