Moet Hennessy acquires 50% stake in Jay-Z’s champagne brand

French luxury goods conglomerate LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton has bought 50% state in Jay-Z’s champagne brand Armand de Brignac, which is popularly called Ace of Spades. The terms of the deal haven’t been released yet. The champagne is produced in France’s Champagne region by a father-and-son duo, who are 12th- and 13th-generation wine growers. The brand sold more than 500,000 bottles in 2019.
