SCOTUS pulls the plug on election-related cases

SCOTUS on Monday formally ended eight lingering disputes pursued by former President Donald Trump and his allies related to the Nov. 3 presidential election. One of the disputes included a Republican challenge to the extension of Pennsylvania’s deadline to receive mail-in ballots. Appeals by the Republican Party of Pennsylvania were turned away by the justices.

When you toss the constitution into the trash you just ended the entire judiciary. Roberts just ended the United States. It is over folks there is no rule of law anymore. This is now a country run by "rule by law". Seek not justice nor fair play nor rule of law here for this is now a totalitarian state no different than Communist occupied mainland China. All politics are local folks you need to get active and remove the communist from any public positions of power.

If you need the military to protect politicians - you did lose. Remember its not a few people - its pretty much half the country on either side - that are upset.

Quite sickening because 100% Pennsylvania violated the Constitution. It clearly states ONLY the legislature can change election laws. Scary times every AMERICAN if you don't have your gun permits you better go get it and get prepared. The 2nd Amendment is number 2 for a reason. These tyrannical leftist dictators will destroy this glorious nation if we don't stop them.

Hmm, I am a bit conflicted, as I do not believe that the Federal government has any real authority over how elections are conducted within each state. That being said, it is also rather clear that many of these states are intentionally not going to investigate these electoral issues/accusations, and thus entire populations are being disenfranchised with seemingly little official recourse.

This is what happens when your justices are too cowardly to do their jobs. Rather than review the individual cases, for which the Supreme Court has done before(Bush v Gore), they would rather dismiss the cases without a review of their merits. And some of them do have merit, like the Pennsylvania case.

When your government is complicit in election tampering and even the branch dedicated to enforcement and interpretation of the Constitution uses it for toilet paper what option is left to the citizens? Keep this up and keep ignoring the will of the people and see how that ends. Hint, those who have tried to seize power in history through fascism and symbolic non representative elections end up in shallow graves (if they are lucky).

Not surprising, but still disappointing. They're so scared of the evidence they can't even allow a case presented to appease the public.

Sorry, your case is moot, you died before we got around to it, so a dead person nolonger has standing. I really am lost here, they risked nothing to rule on this case as it would not change the election results. It would, on the other hand, set a precedent for future elections.

Don't worry guys with all the defamation lawsuits coming all the defendants will be able to produce the super duper evidence of the rigged election in their defense as yet again their day in court comes.

This just proves that the USA is gone. It's no longer the land of justice. Even if there was no election fraud, tens of millions of citizens are convinced otherwise. Dismissing them all as dumb cultists is the exact same think Trumpers do to all Democrats. This creates groups that feel disenfranchised, which creates greater dichotomies, which leads to no progress, and consolidated power. The SCOTUS owes it to Americans to at least hear the case. It's literally their purpose for being there. This is very bad for America.

Pennsylvania violated the constitution, their own supreme court acknowledged this in their judgement. This has set a dangerous precedent. Literally anyone can cheat from now on, and no one will do anything about it.

Way too much at stake for the U.S. Would set us back years as a society. The American Government found guilty of election fraud! The Democrat party along with the media were players in the largest Government election corruption event in history. Too much at stake. Never happen!

So this remind me of a story.... If someone tells you you are drunk... maybe you are not... If 2 people tell you you are drunk... well maybe you are... If many people from different backgrounds tell you you are drunk ... you definitely are 😀
